the NOTAM's for updated information.
Pegasus provides for automated Flight Assignment System (FASS),
Flight Request (FREQ) and Charter Request (CHAR). The automated
Flight Assignment feature can be enabled in your personal
settings..
From
the 'Pilots' menu select the Timetable function. Here you
can select filters for how you wish to search the timetable
database. Select your options and hit the query button. You
are then presented with a list of flights, notice the hyperlinks
within the flight details, give them a try. The end link 'FREQ'
will take you to a confirmation screen, having selected this
option choose the date that you wish to fly. The passenger
and cargo figures are assigned for you. File your flight request,
you will be e-mailed a copy of the FREQ form and you will
be taken to your 'Logbook'.
Your
requested flight now appears both in the 'Open Flights' and
'Flight Logbook' areas. Whilst the flight is 'Open' (unreported)
you have an option to cancel the flight. Once you are in a
position to complete a FREP select the 'File' option at the
end of the line. Your flight times should be entered using
the GMT time for departure and arrival. The flight report
form requires that you fill in all sections. Submitting the
report initially takes you to a confirmation page, please
check your details before finally submitting the report.
On
submitting the FREP you are taken back to your logbook, notice
the flight has now been removed from the 'Open Flights' section
and is now indicated in the 'Flight Logbook'. Until your Area
Manager approves the report you may update it using the link.
However once the report is approved it becomes 'locked' and
you may then only view the report filed.
Any
flight hours accrued during a week period ending midnight
each Saturday are credited to your totals when the area report
is issued.
