Wondering
what a virtual airline is? In simple terms, it is a group
of Flight Simulator "pilots" who simulate a fictitious
airline (Although today a large number of VA's simulate real
airlines). The operation is purely non-profit.
The
objective is to enjoy professional flight simulation using
one's own computer at home to simulate the virtual airline's
flights. Building hours and being promoted to higher ranks,
stimulates the pilot to fly more and the sense of reward is
what keeps them going, in their spare time of course.
It
is important to highlight that this is a hobby, so the attraction
is not a salary, but a feeling of pilot community which particularly
attracts the pilot to the VA, depending on their geographic,
technical, and cultural tastes, etc.
We
are proud to be one of Europe's best and pioneering virtual
airlines, having started as a new, unique airline which does
not simulate a real-world airline. This was not an easy task,
as we had to build a strong reputation and develop an independent
'brand'.
