CHAIRMAN

I
stepped into the flight-simulation world a few
years back in the age of DOS with Microsoft's
Flight Simulator version 5.1, on floppy disks.
With Internet access I was soon captivated by
the simulation community and the endless free
add-ons. Having exhausted, to some extent, the
'adventure' flights I turned to looking for a
virtual airline and came across Eurostar.
I
signed up in April 2000 and flew my first assignment.
Filling in the flight report I remember thinking
'would this be acceptable', of course there were
errors but help was at hand from a friendly management
team. At the same time as joining Eurostar I applied
for an ID from what is now VATSIM. Taking flight-simulation
online is a one way route, flying your sim without
the interaction of 'human' ATC and other fliers
will never be the same.
Soon
I became an active management member mainly dealing
with recruitment but helping out wherever I could.
This year in February 2002 I was appointed 'Chairman'
of Eurostar-Aviation, a great honour and a challenge.The
introduction of Pegasus will alleviate workload
allowing us to focus on a Fleet overhaul and completion
of the new website. For the airline to function
requires active participation of members, be that
from pilots or management. This is your airline,
if you have something to offer then consider adding
your skills in support of your hobby.

TO MANAGEMENT / CO-FOUNDER
Hani Ali
I
was born in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 1978. My
passion for aviation and aircraft is strongly
rooted in my childhood. I entered the world of
PC flight simulation with the purchase of ATP
(Airline Transport Pilot) software which at the
time I recall was a thrillingly realistic flight
simulator. Along with my twin brother Hussam,
I co-founded Eurostar Aviation in June 1996 and
served as chairman until January 2002. The objective
upon foundation was simple, to deliver to FS pilot
in Europe the best VA experience with an emphasis
on realism and professionalism.
I reside in Montreal, Canada, where I am currently
completing a Master degree in Architecture. Besides
my fanatical interest in flight simulators I apprediate
the arts, design, music, and physical fitness.
I plan on getting a private pilot license

ADVISOR
TO MANAGEMENT / CO-FOUNDER
Hussam
Ali
I
am currently completing a Masters Degree in Structural
Engineering at McGill University, Montréal,
where I have been residing since 1988.
I co-founded Eurostar Aviation with my brother
Hani for various reasons. We both calculated that
the concept of a Pan-European virtual airline,
with emphasis on cooperation, education and harmony,
was a highly successful formula in the fledgling
European virtual airline scene.
Years later, I reaffirm that Eurostar has succeeded
in building a strong foundation based on attention
to quality, professionalism and a continuous adaptation
to the latest trends in the world of Flight Simulation.
The recent automation developments will allow
us to absorb more pilots, provide specialized
services to our various regional divisions, schedule
more exciting online events and focus on fleet
quality.
